How to use the RDT “SD Malaria Ag Pf/Pan POCT, Cat. No. 05FK63 or 0FK67”
These instructions explain how to perform an RDT for malaria. Although instructions for use and this video are clear, we recommend a formal training by a professional before use in the field. Studies have also shown that sick people are not able to perform the test well, so we advise to have the test performed by a trained person (more information here). In case you have malaria, there will be proteins (antigens) produced by the malaria parasite in your blood. This test detects these malaria antigens. If you have malaria, red test lines will appear on the test as explained below.
